Salesforce Developer

Location: LATAM

Responsibilities

  • Participate in Story grooming / Spike sessions with the core SFDC team to analyze requirements and translate into Salesforce solutions.
  • Propose solutions and/or present alternative solutions based on SFDC best-practice.
  • Build solutions that leverage Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, as well as SOA and WebServices, including streaming API.
  • Debug and re-optimize code for performance (SoQL Query limits, governors, order of execution).
  • Participate in the QA and UAT cycles for both Major (Project/Project) and minor change releases.
  • Prepare work estimates for Project deliverables.
  • Prepare technical documentation and participate in code-review sessions with peers.
  • Implement automated functional and system test suits.
  • Support team engagement through frequent and proactive daily collaboration with teammates (Teams, video-chat).
  • Support management objectives and KPIs through tracking of work/hours spent on Projects and deliverables.
  • Provide escalations support on Production issues, as needed.

Requirements

  • 5 years’ experience developing on the Salesforce platform using all of the following: Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, Process Builder, Flows and WebServices (including Streaming API); must have 3 years’ experience developing Lightning components for Communities.
  • 3 years’ experience with CSS and HTML5.
  • VSCode, Jira, Bitbucket and Confluence experience.
  • JavaScript frameworks (Angular JS, React, etc).
  • Can design and implement a test plan that ensures adequate quality (e.g., code coverage, application behaviors, scalability, environment independence, security) across application components.
  • Understands and uses Apex SOAP and REST web services and how to call out from Apex using SOAP and REST. Understands and uses asynchronous programming –queueable, batchable, schedulable, @future, etc.
  • Is competent developing Apex code that will scale to large data sets; has a good understanding of platform behaviors, limits, and performance considerations.
  • Understands and applies appropriate techniques for error and exception handling in various programmatic contexts.
  • Must have prior experience developing on a Salesforce platform that part of a greater Enterprise Business Systems platform including, but not limited to integrations with ERP, PLM, HRIS, Licensing, Identity Management and Marketing Automation systems.
  • Extensive experience with RDBMs including data modeling and ERD concepts, as well as hands-on experience with ETL and related activities.
  • Prior experience implementing custom SAML, Oauth and OpenID solutions both back-end (APEX, API, Webservices) and customer facing.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (8 plus years experience as Developer)
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II

    Nice to have Certifications:       
  • Identity and Access Management Designer.
  • System Architect.
  • Technical Architect.

Prior experience with a multi-tier distribution or channel-based Go-To-Market strategy.
