Integration Configuration Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Adjust and validate HL7 message structures, including field mapping and variable updates 
  •  Review and modify JSON payloads to ensure accurate data exchange between systems 
  •  Set up and validate SFTP connections for file-based integrations 
  •  Execute repetitive configuration tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail 
  •  Validate end-to-end data flow and ensure integrations function as expected 
  •  Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues during setup, testing, and post-deployment 
  •  Document configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps in a clear and structured manner 
  •  Perform audits and quality checks to ensure integration consistency and reliability 
  •  Provide ongoing support to clients and internal teams regarding integration behavior and issues 
  •  Respond to support requests and tickets in a timely and professional manner 
  •  Assist with testing and validation of integration-related updates or enhancements 
  •  Deliver a consistent, high-quality support experience through detail-oriented analysis

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in QA, integration support, technical support, or similar roles in a SaaS or EMR/EHR environment
  • Understanding of system integrations, APIs, and data flow between systems
  • Familiarity with HL7 and JSON, including the ability to read, understand, and modify structures
  • Experience working with configuration-based systems or tools
  • Exposure to SFTP or file-based integrations
  • Experience using ticketing systems such as Zendesk, ServiceNow, or similar
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work on repetitive, accuracy-sensitive tasks
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to learn proprietary tools and workflows
  • Focus on integrations, data validation, and troubleshooting

Nice to Have
  • Experience with QA automation, including API testing, automated validation, or scripting
