Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions.
- Refactor and optimize existing codebases, ensuring adherence to best practices and modern software architecture principles.
- Collaborate with other team members, ensuring that developed solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
- Contribute to the platform's evolution, optimizing performance, security, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
- Maintain schedule flexibility to adapt to an international team dynamic.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- +2 years of experience in PHP.
- Advanced experience in JavaScript and NodeJS.
- Solid knowledge of AWS, including services such as Lambda, S3, CloudWatch and SQS.
- Experience with database design and optimization.
- Experience handling legacy code, refactoring, and improving existing codebases.
- English AdvancedNice to Have
- Knowledge of PHP frameworks such as Symfony, Zend, or Laravel.
- Message/queue processing at scale (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Kinesis).
- ReactJs.
- Express.
- Terraform.
Preferred Qualifications - Strong understanding of design patterns and best practices.
- Ability to refactor and modernize legacy code, improving maintainability and performance.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like AWS CloudWatch and Dynatrace.
