Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain software applications using Clojure or ClojureScript, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable Clojure code.
- Build and maintain web applications using Clojure or ClojureScript, integrating with backend services and databases.
- Ensure the responsiveness and optimal performance of web applications.
- Integrate Clojure applications with databases, both relational and NoSQL, using appropriate Clojure libraries.
- Optimize database queries and transactions for efficiency.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs using Clojure for seamless integration with other components of the system.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Clojure. Haskell or Scala are acceptable if Clojure is learned quickly.
- Experience with functional programming paradigms and concepts
- Experience implementing RESTFul services.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Understanding of software development best practices, including version control (Git), testing, and continuous integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced English.
